Limitations of the Standalone Version

Excel has some features that it embeds inside their XLSX format files that our standalone package cannot parse. This is because we use a product by SpreadsheetGear which does not fully support Excel files despite its claims. They have refused to fix the problems so we are stuck with this problem. If you have one of these files, please avoid these features or use the Excel Addin version or use XLS format. On the Mac under OS X, it’s recommended to use XLS format files.
