History
Next Analytics is an Independent Software Vendor that specializes in serving the needs of web analysts.
Having evolved from business intelligence roots, the core advantage of the company is that each founder brings over thirty years of experience in converting raw data into useful business information.
Our goal is for our customers to be able to deliver state-of-the-art useful web and social media analysis to their customers using processes that are efficient.
The founders' business goals are simple: Build a base of customers who pay a fair price for well-maintained and well-supported software that keeps abreast of modern business needs.
Incorporated in 2003, Next Analytics operates out of Ottawa, Canada.
Management Background
Ward Yaternick, President & CTO
Since 1981, Ward has been at the forefront of innovation in analytics. From 1991 to 1997, Ward was Director of PowerPlay Client Development. Ward left Cognos to found OLAP@Work later purchased by Business Objects. Ward became Vice President Analytic and Reporting Products at Business Objects until May 2003 when he founded Nextanalytics Corporation. Ward's an innovator, always moving the product line forward and outward.
Mike Sullivan, VP Engineering
Mike joined Next Analytics in 2007. With over 30 years of experience, Mike previously led the IT organization at Mitel Corporation and was CIO at Entrust Corp. When Mike joined Next Analytics, he was instrumental in re-defining the core focus from pure business intelligence, to how business intelligence princples apply to web and social analytics. Mike's role to ensure the customer base are getting what they need.
