Reset the project Launch in a new browser window You should see the first 10 rows of a transactions file. With a couple of menu selections below, you can get a sorted list of the top salespeople.

  • Arrange - Create Crosstab - Month - OK
  • Arrange - Sort Rows - 12/06 Descending - OK
  • Layout - Rename Page Title
    and enter a Title of 'Sales', OK

Reset the project Launch in a new browser window From our Sales page in the previous example, we'll find the salesperson with the fastest growing sales.

  • Calculate - Growth
  • Arrange - Sort Rows - 12/06 Descending - OK
  • Layout - Rename Page Title
    and enter a Title of 'Growth', OK

Reset the project Launch in a new browser window From our Sales page in the earlier example, we'll find the regional sales total for the same periods.

  • Select the 'Sales' page from the dropdown at the top right
  • Distribution - Combine Sub-Group - Region - Sum - OK
  • Alert - Alert by comparing to Axis - Same Page - Page - Average - 0 - As Percent - Default - OK
  • Layout - Rename Page Title
    enter Title 'Regional Sales', OK

Reset the project Launch in a new browser window Let's use nextanalytics' alert capabilities to highlight when a salesperson has been in the top 10 in previous months.

  • Normalize - Rank values - Down each column - OK 
  • Layout - Rename Page Title
    and enter a Title of 'Rank', OK
  • Select the 'Sales' page from the dropdown at the top right
  • Alert - Alert by Cell Value - select 'Rank' page - select color theme '1 to 10 with heat image' - OK

The top salesperson in each period is colored deep orange, the 10th is deep blue. If they were not in the top 10, they remain white.
