Before you can download or use the forums, you need to login.  

Remember, it's free, but we need you to register (confidentiality assured!).   This helps prevent spam in our forums, and for us to track the usage of our product.  We already know we're the best open source business analytics package in the world, but how will we know when we're the largest and most popular unless you tell us by registering?  For that reason, please do not share ids, we prefer that each developer get their own id.

What to download

You'll be able to download your choice of .NET or Java product.  If you're just starting out, we recommend the Windows version because it can be installed on your desktop and it has an interactive "author mode" that allows you to learn faster and be more productive.  The java version can be downloaded later so that you can try out your work in a production "unix" scenarios. The analytic scripts you develop for Windows will run unchanged in the unix environment.

If you are a web developer or have your own software package, then you will likely want to integrate nextanalytics with it.  Each download includes Tier 1 open source. Tier 1 is the source code you need to integrate our advanced analytics into your application or solution.  The .NET version arrives as a Microsoft Visual Studio Project.  The Java version arrives as a Netbeans 6 project.

Even with the source code included, our downloads are very small and easily installable. Both versions download in under one megabyte! The .NET version has been Gold Certified by Microsoft since early 2007, so you can install it knowing that your computer is safe and secure. The source code is 100% C# or Java, depending on your environment.
