March 2008: version 3 released

Version 3 of the nextanalytics analytic engine is now available for download from http://www.nextanalytics.com/.

Commercial open source license. In a bold move, nextanalytics is releasing the source code to the product in tiers to registered users. Every download includes full source code to reference implementations, and the web site provides hundreds of pages of documentation, training materials and examples at no cost. Source code to the analytic engine is available by special arrangement.

Innovations. Version 3 introduces many significant functional innovations in the area of analytics and data integration. The powerful analytic script language now encompasses more than 100 commands and delivers unparalleled capabilties.

Multi-platform. With version 3, nextanalytics has responded to corporate demand and introduces a Java version as well as a new release of the Microsoft Gold Certified .NET version. The downloads include NetBeans (Java) or Visual Studio (.NET) source code projects with sample scenarios.

Community web site. nextanalytics introduced a dramatically new web site in March 2008 focused on fostering an open community of users. Aside from the free documentation, tutorials, integration examples and analytic solution samples, the web site includes a help forum with expert participation, a marketplace to encourage third party offerings, and a classified section to connect experts with those in need.

Partner Services. While specialized training, support and customization services are available directly with nextanalytics, our low risk, low cost approach makes an enticing proposition for our growing partner base.


Version 3 is available on a subscription basis at only $595 per server per year, free for registered developers.

nextanalytics is pleased to announce that DirectLoyalty Corp. has become an OEM partner of nextanalytics Corp.  DirectLoyalty operates a Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) business, providing online surveys with nextanalytics-based analysis and reporting.

The nextanalytics engine has been expanded to enable direct analysis of Web log files, additional commands to facilitate the unique requirements of survey analysis, and greatly improved performance and scalability to enable extremely fast multi-million row queries.
