Detailed list of changes
Last week (end of February 2015), we released an improved version (6.7).
Our goal was to make the product easier to build queries, and then easier tobuild reports/dashboards by merging books together, and then working with Windows Task Scheduler for automated data refresh.
With Google Analytics users in mind, we added more power for building multi-view and multi-segment reports.
- tighter integration with Excel;
- dialog now floats on Excel,
- no preview window,
- fresh data is written directly into worksheet
- better memory management for large models
- Improvements when building Multi-View reports
- dynamically add/removes Views based on text-pattern matching and exclusion lists
- more control over which text columns to include (name, id)
- Improvements when building Multi-Segment reports
- dynamically adjust which Segments based on text-pattern matching and exclusion lists
- more control over which text columns to include (name, id, description)
- More control of which text columns to include with comparative periods
- A new ability to create new dashboards by merging multiple Workbooks;
- build sophisticated reports individually, then
- merge them into one, and
- edit the merged copies to alter the View, Segment, and dates
